| I am fairly new to this board so this question may have been covered before, but here it goes. Am I missing something by NOT buying crop insurance? An agent called cold called me the other day and wants me to meet with him. I have never bought it before and never really even considered it. I am crazy not to? My thoughts are probably fairly pessimistic but it seems like with any insurance, if one takes all the premiums paid and compare it to all the claims paid, the premiums will always be more and thus one generally loses money with every dollar spent on insurance. I should add that I do not have 4 years of proven yields, nor do I have any debt. | |
