As far as MPCI vs CRC/RA, attached is an example of some yields I had from Banner County Mo. They are actual yields, and just the first 06 I could grab. Using 07 premiums skews results, because premiums are so high, they "dwarf" the ten year return (that was based on much lower spring/fall prices).

To my way of thinking, I would rather own a one or two level lower revenue product. I am able to safely market those bushels, and don't need to protect sales with options. This case shows only a few dollars difference in final payment over time. It does not reflect any added options/marketing costs that might be needed with MPCI.
