Subject: Any thoughts on this one?

Both sides of the Mason-Dixon Line
I have an Ag Leader Insight with Autoswath in a JD 4720. I got it to work, but I didn't realize that we were going to lose the use of the master switch and the section control button that is built into the hydro handle until after we had it installed. In order to retain the use of the built in buttons, I'm considering the idea of going all the way back to the boom valves to receive the input signal to the Ag Leader. I'd make a tee cable that would fit between the wiring harness and the boom valve. I'd run the red and the black straight straight through to the boom valve. I'd extend the white wire up to the cab to the input side of the insight. Then I'd run the output side of the Insight to the boom valve. Maybe as a precaution I'll use a relay to isolate the deere from the insight. Is there any concerns that I may run into issues with the Deere's CAN? What do you guys think? Thanks in advance.
