| I saw my bull breeding a 4 month old heifer yesterday and wanted to give her a 5ml dose (from the label) of lutalyse next week to abort any possible pregnancy. Will this affect her future reproductive performance? I was planning to keep some of the heifers back and breed them next summer.
This is the second time that a calf from this cow has started cycling early. Her first heifer from 2 years ago was bred when she was 90 days old. We didn't catch it until she was bagging up in January. Is this problem likely to continue in the family line?
