Depends on stage of pregnancy.
In horses, if the fetus is over 28 days, it will require 2 shots within 24 hrs.
To watch the cramping and sweating is somewhat disconcerting if you don't
know what is actually happening. Ten minutes and it is all over.
Had a heifer get bred while still on the cow when I was like 14...bad ending.
Just one more reason I adhere to a strict 60 day calving period.
