perryton, tx | This morning I found a calf with the plastic tab that seals a feed sack shut halfway down his throat. (I try to stress to the help not to throw stuff like that on the ground but that’s another story.) Seems like once or twice a year I find one eating something like that and no telling how many we don’t see. I’m just wondering if cattle are able to pass that through their digestive system and poop it out or is the end result hardware stomach or some other kind of death sentence? | |
