I know when I started looking, some of the "cheap" options didn't seem to match my definition of cheap. Ended up finding a DIY solution that has been mentioned before here on AT but figured I would mention it again.

AGOpenGPS is a DIY Opensource solution that offers RTK level accuracy on the cheap, if you are willing to invest some time into learning and setting it up.

It is NOT an off the shelf, plug and play system, but what it lacks in setup simplicity makes up for with accuracy and features.

Fully customizable and they are continuously upgrading and adding features requested by the community. Just last night I went onto the forums and made a simple request to have a button added, and the lead developer/creator Brian, had my change made and sent me a new link to the software that night. It is able to provide GPS basics of mapping, autosteer, headland turns, automatic section control, hydraulic lift controls, offset implements, and more. Lots of guys have started to get pretty creative with what they are doing, going as far as to set up fully autonomous tractors using the system.

Built by a farmer named Brian in Mannville Ab, but has since spread all over the world.

I got my entire RTK system for $1700.00 CAD with autosteer, auto steer disengage, mapping, and sensors.
