I'm not sure the fault lies with Ardusimple. U-center and really all the config software I've used from U-Blox has been buggy. At least their firmware loader has a verify routine. U-Center's config down load and up load I've seen skip over memory registries and some of their newer manual config methods don't work on all parameters.
P.S. I'm running the WIFI X-Bee chip in all of my receivers.
Edit: Changed S-Center to U-Center. (S-Center is even more buggy than U-Center but I digress)
