Subject: Lost drive power in my Case sprayer

East Central Ia
Case 3320

2007 with 2400hrs I believe

Makes a loud hydraulic whine or motor spinning fast noise from the rear under load and has very little drive power. I can’t tell if it’s from the hydro or wheel area without someone else to operate while someone is outside to watch/listen.

No visible oil leak, no grinding, no banging or boom… just a loud hydraulic sound and lost of drive power under load. The noise goes away if your drive downhill.

No error codes or dummy lights either.

I was able to limp it to the driveway.

Put new reman hydros on it before last season I think… might have been two years ago. Either way no more then 2-300 hrs on it since then.

What does a failed wheel motor act like? Could it be that or possibly a stuck bypass of some sort?

Felt nothing mechanical wrong at any point. Just the noise and loss of drive power.
