This might be an off-the-wall idea, but you never know.
Our previous sprayer was a 4260. It developed a terrible noise like that and lost some power one day while on the road. We thought something was going out in the hydro. It ended up being one of the rubber hoses let go on the air-to-air and we were losing boost.
