Subject: Frost in the ground on May 4th

Neighbor had a water hydrant break inside a pole shed, against the north wall. I started digging outside the building and hit frost 24" down. About 9-12" of frost still.

Was spreading fertilizer on the 7th and was noticing just 50' off the tile lines it's mushy soup. I'm wondering if there's still isn't frost in the ground there too.

What a crazy year. Gunna have beans on the sand planted before I can even knife in NH3 on the heavy ground.
