Subject: Better than money in the bank?

NW MN
Still have my calves. Plenty of hay to feed them through winter. Plenty of pasture to keep them this summer. I usually sell March/April.

My plan:
Run calves (steers and heifers) on pasture this summer. Dump one of my FIL’s bulls in for 30 days to run with them (he won’t need it July 15 to Aug 15). Next fall see what comes in bred and keep them.

Should I worry about running steers and heifers with a bull? Just hate to sell this spring and park cash in the bank at .35%. I could pay down debt but with low locked in interest I want to pay it back with more inflated dollars later.
