If a bull can’t handle competition from a steer or two well he is not much of a bull. As far as the markets go I am not an expert but numbers of feeders are tightening.
Well - - - having had to sell a couple of very good bulls due to a broken penis I think that its not when the bull is on the ground that I would be worried about.
The bull will hang a lickin' on most any steer.
But when he is in the air doing his job - - - well - - - he's a lot more vulnerable.
I would vote for splitting them for breeding time at least!
Its only for a month!!!!! |
