Subject: No-till beans behinds yetter devastators

western iowa
I'm trying to no-till beans 6" to the side of the old corn row. I've always thought I should leave the stalks standing, plant the beans, then roll the stalks down after the planter. My opinion was that I wanted the stalks standing before planting to have less residue on the ground to deal with.

Does anyone use a devastator on the corn head and then no-till beans? Is there too much residue on the ground behind the devastator?
