Bainville, MT | I live in a remote corner of NE Montana. I have a problem where the best place to put RTK bases and repeaters up has no power for miles. Has anyone successfully got a RTK base or repeater to run off of Solar power for weeks or months at a time. I tried one this summer and it would make the deep-cycle boat battery last maybe two days longer, but alas it would go dead.
If you have what type of controller did you use.
How big was you solar panel.
Any tips.
