MSB started a thread about oranges in Florida at the bottom of the page. Just how much citrus acreage is there in Florida? Right now about 576,577 acres reported in 2008. Sadly there are 131,540 abandoned citrus acres. One would think that with over 300 million folk here in the US, we would not have that many abandoned acres.
