Saronville NE | Been doing a little investigting this week on NE DEQ and what I would have to do to expand, sounds like I wouldnt have to do too much dirtwork to be ble to keep outside lots, but gotta get permitted etc and have DEQ inspect, etc, or a guy could put buildings up, no permits needed and have as many head as you wanted. So my question is if wouldnt have to spend a fortune on dirt work, terraces, settling areas etc, would you stay with dirt lots vs putting the buildings up? I know every 100 head pen we build will cost about $18k with continous fence, posts, cement, cement feedline bunks and waterer. And from reading on here looks like the buildings would be bout $550 a head or roughly $55k if that is close from reading on here, have never priced a building. I like the lower price of the outside, but in case of future DEQ promblems is it smarter to think about a building? Would like to add another 250 head of capacity. | |
