Paul was thinkin about this doing chores-if I had to do it all over,I would first invest in the shipping and receiving barn-your chute, load out and then go from there-Probably the best money I spent was that first, then maybe add a starter barn close by-starting those lite weight feeders will be your biggest job, nice to have a place to drop,5-100 head late at nite with no worries, get that bunch going and then move them to your drylot pens you already have-if you set your building right you can expand from there-maybe look at it as a 10 year project-1st year ship and receiving barn-experimit-3rd year maybe a grower barn,5th year-changes,maybe another barn-7th year-remodel outside pens or build another barn-9th-10th year, any changes, expand,or stay the same, but always keep in mind any water discharge you will probably need to contain and at the minimum have just clean water discharge,1 of the reasons the building's look more favorable!
