Have a '53'coop diesel w/12 volt generator & external regulator. Wasn't charging so had rebuilt at Napa. Now it charges at idle but when reved up it discharges. Redid the jumper on regulator for positive ground. Still discharge. Napa man said some old tractors do that. the end. I'm not a happy camper. Don't use the tractor but want electrical to work properly. Any ideas?
