| Not quite the same but I have a sawdust shooter on my JD 314 G for bedding my bed packs. I used to use a bucket on my skid steer and then spread by shovel. Big time savings when I went to the shooter, between half as many trips to the sawdust shed and by spreading directly. It doesn't do as nice a job spreading as I used to by hand but when I let the heifers back in they run around and do a decent job finishing the distribution. It does a beautiful job breaking up frozen chunks of sawdust but doesn't like ice. I got a load of sawdust last winter that had chunks of ice in it, maybe from cleaning up the mill yard? My sawdust guy heard about that one! | |
