Oswald No-Till Farm Cleghorn, IA | My first fall strip till ammonia I believe was 1994 for 1995 crop
My machine up to 2014 was a DMI mounted toolbar. I ran it as 8-36 and extended to 12-30. I took marketers of my 12 row planter for the strip till.
My current machine is a Strip Cat. I liked the ability to configure it as both shank or counter.
I’m running 8-30 RTK following with 16r planter. I fall or spring strip with ammonia. I can dual place liquid and ammonia or straight either one.
There’s a handful of strip tillers within 10 miles radius. Not a lot. There’s a lot of manure injected around here so that’s what tillage a lot of guys do.
