Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80

JohnW - 2/22/2019 12:32 I would go for a slab. But do it right with a firm base, insulation, vapor barrier and a deeper foundation around the edge. Also plan ahead for your HVAC, plumbing and wiring. That stuff does not last forever and may need repairs in the future. Crawlspaces can be a PITA with ventilation, insulation and rodent problems. I can understand your no basement too. Basements can be an expensive pain too with moisture, water leaks and other issues.

Maybe add a Radon ventilation system to your list.
