To each their own but I don't believe washing walls once a year and scrubbing floors twice a year is really all that out of line. If someone wants to work in a pig pen and wear a badge of honor for it that is their right to do so. We just find that it is a much nicer environment to work in when things are clean and organized. A tidy well organized shop makes us more efficient when working on something. Rather then scratching our heads and searching through piles of tools or parts we know right where they are and go get them. Sound like you had some issues with your dad in regard to how he kept his shop.




Pig pens happen when you are a slob. Don't be a slob all the time and nothing to worry about.


Here is a picture of my new shop. I wont be washing walls anytime soon.





His shop looked like **** all the time anyway, scrubbed or not. No work got done in there anyway, too many parties to have.
