East of Broken Bow | While they have every right to kneel if they want to, but if you ask the average person around here, most don't get the point of the kneeling. By that, I mean the whole conversation has turned to the protesters and protest itself, and the forgotten downtrodden that the protests are supposed to be helping, are once again forgotten.
I even heard where some recording artist or another, tried to 'prove' that the NFL was racist, because they blacklisted Colin Kapernick, one of the greatest Quarterbacks of all time (as the recording artist called him). Sorry, but he HAD a million dollar a year contract, and he could have kept it, even with the kneeling, but he chose to break the contract. And again, the recording artist is not talking about the poor, forgotten, and downtrodden. He's going on and on, about someone who HAD a million dollar a year contract, and walked away from it, and has his face plastered all over the media (hardly forgotten). | |
