They piled this corn on Main Street of our little town two years ago, didn't bother anything because not much is going on anymore. I remember when there were 3 grocery stores, a restaurant, pool hall, two gas stations, a doctor, a barber shop, a train depot, a school, a blacksmith shop, a poultry buyer and a mechanics shop. All gone now.


The ironic thing is that this internet age should be making small towns like that more viable, not less. I guess the damage was already done in the 80's.
