East of Broken Bow | I've had firefighter training, and nothing scares me more (as far as fire goes) than someone clearing a little square out of a forest, to build a house on. A burning evergreen tree is about as hard to put out as a pile of burning tires, and when dry, just as flammable. Literally, there is almost no putting them out. About all you can do is backfire and make fire breaks. If there is a clearing, you can try to hold the fire from houses, but if there are enough trees close enough together, the chances are slim to none.
