On highway 281, about a mile north of the center of Red Cloud.
Hard to believe that anything in Red Cloud does not have ‘Willa Cather’ in its name.
It was a nice motel, good people, clean, fair price. A bit less than $60- per day.
But now I wish I had stayed in Smith Center.
Question for AK - Is the ground still as firm as a quicksand pit around there?
By the time I got home on Tue Oct 30, had to look pretty hard to find anything left to do.
