E.Central MN | As one old auctioneer said one day, he can find lots of auctioneers to just sit behind a mic for an hour, but a big part of auctions is working with sellers to get the sale and get it organized for the auction. On the other hand, I know an auctioneer that works 4-5 days a week just auctioning. He sells cattle one day, cars another, he sells household items at an auction center, and he may be auctioning a household estate or farm sale a couple of the other days. But you don't get those weekly gigs unless you're very good at it day in day out. He's like the Energizer Bunny of auctioneers. | |
