New Castle, PA
That is a valid concern. Look at it from the sellers point of view. If you owned several hundred acres worth who knows how much ,maybe 1-2 million, along with a full line of late model equipment in good condition, maybe another million, and you have worked your entire life to acquire this all free and clear . So your your lifes work is going to be converted to cash in the matter of a couple hours by some auctioneer, who would you trust to do it? A younger auctioneer who is probably a nice guy but lacks experience and may not be widely known ,or would you choose the older more widely known well seasoned auctioneer with a proven record ? Like I said , look at it from the sellers point of view . Having said all that, even the most widely known and reputable auctioneers there are ,were all young and inexperienced at the beginning of there career. Good luck whatever your choice is.
