Casey Iowa | I remember back in summer of 2004 timeframe.....maybe....memory on time is a little sketchy.........but the price we missed is forever etched in my brain.....we wanted $3.00 for what was basically all of our corn we figured.....1/2 million bushels......elevator manager would only push to $2.98 a bushel.....we were fools.....price went on down to $1.40.....we sold before it got there....but not by a whole lot....... we are still farming though and haven’t learned much cuz our bins will b full of a bunch of cheap unpriced corn this year......so 14 years later and haven’t learned much at all. | |
