McLeod County, MN | Your like me. You dont know how to read a chart either so you have to guess at selling. The charts said we were going to $12 so I put offers in at $10.25 cash at CHS. I think I got within a penny or two and then the market retreated. I could have let them go for $9.50 after the $10.25 rejection. Then I waited for $9.75, but the price went to $8.75. Then I waited for $9, but the price went to $8.25 and I finally just gave up and let them go. I turned a profitable crop into a small loss, and have nobody to blame but myself. 2 or 3 pennies cost me $2. Talk about being stupid. I should have paid more attention to the market at the time. | |
