| Somebody may be running out to food but I don't think it's China. Below is screen shot of the Port of Santos and Santos Anchorage. See all the green dots, not all of them are bulk carriers but the vast majority of them are bulk carriers waiting to load soybeans. I counted the usual five ships load beans in the normal place. It takes about two days to load a ship. The same situation exists at the Port of Paranaga and there are two bulk carriers that appear to be loading beans up the Amazon.
Now I don't know if all those beans are going to China but it's a good bet they are.
When they start running out of beans to load the number of ships at anchorage declines to just few, that's not happening as of yet.
Maybe China will run out of Brazilian beans but there's no sign of it yet.
Just stop this idle talk about China running out of beans, it may make you feel good but there's no evidence that it has happened yet or will in the near future.
