Ethanol needs to be used for a oxygenate. Previous they used mtbe which worked well but is a very strong carcinogen. Ethanol replaces that. It's also important for national security. This is my understanding on ethanol. If I'm wrong then politely please explain why. Have a safe harvest everyone.
