I live 10 minutes away from ADM in Decatur, 80% of crop is sold direct. 80% of crop is presold. For nearly double that $2.00 a bushel figure. So this field “grossed” over $1,000/ acre.
Got more guts than me when it comes to marketing....must have sold above 250 bpa then on that field when corn was at $4. Always nice to hit a home run.
