Neighbors plant rye after corn silage, always chop around Memorial Day. Plant soybeans as soon as possible. My triticale was a full 2 weeks later to harvest.....ended up being 3 due to being wet and rainy, I chased it with forage sorguhm.....planted (30" rows) the last Saturday in June. My oats was harvested a week after the 4th of July and drilled Sudan shortly after. Neighbors rye/beans look awesome, my forage is not uniform in height due to truck traffic harvesting the trit. Beans just don't care about the compaction from the trucks.
