Could be all different in your area.
My flowing well runs year around.
That much flow, better have 3 or 4 " over flow. May depend on drop away from tank. 2" might do it, but if not, would be bad.
Was me, I would run it to the pond. Set a post by end to find it if it ever plugs. Thriw a tire iver post to keep ciws from rubbing on post
