I've been watching the banter carry on for several weeks and have to agree where is the line drawn between tariff and large crop? IMHO we will only truly know when the harvest is mostly over and the numbers come in. If exports start dropping counter-seasonally, carryout increases we have tipped the scales. Personally feel if this thing doesn't straighten out in a hurry a lot of slow long-term multi-year pain will be felt. We in this country do not know what it is like to be told how to live our daily lives, what we eat, where we go, etc. or live in fear of punishment. The Chinese leadership is a proud people we shall see if they buckle or find new sources of protein.
