Great post. But I am thinking that fluidity and chaos are variables that are fleeting. Monte Carlo (MCS) marketing anyone? Not to say market direction and probability play a huge role in selling a crop. I like to think physics are a little more concrete than that.

Edit: good luck running randomized simulation on market prices. To many outside forces lurking. Legislation, weather, disease, and the like. Which ones to you weight and how much?
