I guess I wasn't disagreeing, more so pointing out how huge the potential would be if everyone really had "perfect" conditions.
The yield potential that we start each year with is much higher than most can grasp. It takes all kinds of yield limiting factors to get us down to a 160-170 bushel national yield.
Hence why some who talk about "perfect" everywhere are pretty likely to never see it. There's a whole lot more acres in play compared to say 1994, and the ideal weather pattern happening both south of I-70 and in MN, SD, ND, WI at the same time are pretty much opposed to each other.
Took a drive last night- I just don't see it.
