SESD | I didn't mean to spoil things......
The start of this thread touched on a problem. The church is too accepting of sin WITHIN its walls. The bible clearly defines sin and we should hold ourselves and each other accountable as the bible says. The bible clearly defines what qualities a church leaders should have, and every Christian should really want to strive for. People of the church are held to a higher standard. We are new creations and certain behavior should stem from that. We will never be perfect, but thank you Lord for being patient and forgiving. Letting Satan inside the walls is the reason for these problems, as well as sinful man.
For those not part of the church, they should be shown the love of God and His grace. They are in need of medicine that the church/God has to offer. God will judge them in the end, but our mission is to spread the gospel. But if we don't call a spade a spade (sin) how do we ever have the opportunity to share the gospel? The law shows us our sins and the forgiveness and grace we need because of them.
