I've been giving away copies of Jack's book. "Was God on Vacation".
Neighbor with the tattoo said grandfather gave up his guns and got a tattoo/lost his family; he was going to get a tattoo, then give up his guns only when none of his family (himself included) were alive.
That book should be standard issue in every history class taught.
