Scientific theories are built on facts.
So is a Scientific theory a 'fact'?
I guess it would be for the moment but science knows that new info can come along that may change the details of the theory or in rare cases actually prove the theory wrong and put it back into the hypothesis category.
Can not give you an example but science knows it is always possible.
So think about a theory as the best explanation with the facts available at the moment. | |
