North Central Illinois | Seems like every few years I hit a nesting duck with the haybine. If the eggs don't get mashed, I have put them in the incubator and hatch them out. Once they get a few months old, they fly out of the chicken run. Usually they come back for a few days, then they are gone. Kinda feel like I owe it to the poor mom to raise her babies, plus the kids love seeing ducklings up close. | |
