just a tish NE of central ND | 9400 exhaust........ I believe no birds were harmed yet, but one day I started the 9400 in the yard and blew out a nest of hay and straw from the curved exhaust the size of an ice cream bucket. By noon the next day half of that came back out again..... 5 days I worked on stuff where I started the tractor once a day and each day the discharge seemed to get smaller.....From what I could see it was a ROBINS nesting! 3 weeks later I am working on the cumputer end of the tractor under the cover behind the rear cab window shortly after engine shutdown ....and there is a HECK of a racket and the purple martins landed on the cab and on the mirrors and were haveing a NOISY debate as several of them hopped down into my curved exhaust pipe to check it out......all while Im standing right between the tires on the exhaust side! They almost seemed domesticated!
Dang! that fawn is SO CUTE.......... and then the grow up and poke tires and crap on hay.....
