Its similar to when a big dairy expands and aggressively goes after any available land in the area. Usually the guys that get hurt the most are the smaller operators especially the smaller dairy guys. Guess its just the way farming is these days.


And all those big dairies that did that here filed chapter 11 last year and this year. Now cash rents went to $25/acre take it or leave it to the land owners when the big guys folded. Lots of land going to weeds this year. I'm not expanding 1 acre. Only farm what I own.


$25 an acre land and you are not expanding. Must be the worst land ever. That is only 2.5 bushels of beans.
