All I know is something my Pioneer rep told me a few years ago. This was when cash rents were just starting to drop a bit. He told me seed prices will come down in a couple years (from then) because it takes a couple years after cash rent drops for it to reflect on the seed price. I haven’t seen seed prices drop soooooo! This tells me seed companies do compete for cash rent.
