E.Central MN | It does have some affect on local rent prices in regions were there are several smaller seed companies. And sometimes they lose a customer or two when they rent ground that their customers were previously renting. Its similar to when a big dairy expands and aggressively goes after any available land in the area. Usually the guys that get hurt the most are the smaller operators especially the smaller dairy guys. Guess its just the way farming is these days. | |
