If enough people do sell early, enough to meet end user needs early, there will be no reason for corn to rally in 2018.
A sale is a sale and meets someone's needs. Once those needs are met, they no longer need to bid. Demand has been satisfied before supply is even known to exist.
Anybody selling any fall 18 corn yet?
