I put about as much weight on those projections as the psychic who gives lotto numbers.

Nobody knows.

What I think is being overlooked is bushels. We have had less than favorable conditions but have incredible crops this year, can't imagine what it would have been with a couple more rains. Those extra bushels add up. If you are figuring on yields of a decade ago I bet it does look pretty bleak.

Not to say we can't have a 2012 again-but on average the escalation is crazy. I remember grandpa hearing about someone saying they grew 200 bushel corn-after they left he sad "he is a damn liar". Now the county average is well over that and 250 isn't uncommon. Scary part I guess is with those yields it may take a few years for demand to be able to consume it....
