Yep. Think I read CO2 is up 50% over last 30 yrs. Seems to me that better farming practices including tile, tillage methods, micros, fungicides, timely planting, etc prolly account for about one third of the improvements. Give genetics credit for one third, and give one third to environmental such as rainfall, CO2, and cooler late summers. Would be fun to see what some of the old yield leaders like Pioneer 3304 and DeKalb XL45 would yield in todays environment. Guessing they might push 200 bpa instead of the 130 they did back in the early 70's.
